When it comes to good ol’ soul food, Amy Ruth’s is the restaurant that has the locals and tourist waiting outside for several hours on a Sunday afternoon.
Amy Ruth’s is famous, if its not for their Kool-Aid of the Day, then for their famous Chicken and Waffles (also known as The Rev. Al Sharpton).
While I was there, I enjoyed the chicken wings, collard greens, and candied yams. Yummy!!!
